One of my few paintings that are based off-of a reference photo. This image I took while waiting in the Black Rock Desert, and subsequently endured one of the most intense thunderstorms of my life. This storm resulted in the need for my aid of many of the burners. This was my first burning man and needed to commemorate the scene.
